The Big I Art Foundation Siliguri began its journey on December 9th, 2017. The foundation's name was chosen following a spiritual insight. When people dwell on a self-centred narrative, they project a bigoted and thus narrow mentality. However, the primary subject of the foundation emerges when the idea of the individual transcends into the spirit of the social collective and consciousness. The Big I Art Foundation in Siliguri was established with a focus on the arts and artistic practises. The organisation is aware of its societal responsibility to introduce different artistic forms and artists to the public.
